Introduction

TFe Connection is committed to conducting business ethically and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This policy outlines the company's stance on bribery and corruption and provides guidance to employees to ensure adherence to these principles.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees, officers, agents, consultants, and any third parties acting on behalf of TFe Connection.

Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption Policy

Policy Statement

  1. Prohibition of Bribery:

    • Employees must not engage in offering, giving, soliciting, or accepting any form of bribe. This includes cash or other items of value intended to influence business decisions. Any attempt to gain an unfair advantage through corrupt practices is strictly forbidden.

  2. Facilitation Payments:

    • Facilitation payments, which are unofficial payments made to expedite routine governmental actions, are prohibited. Such payments, although often considered small, undermine the integrity of our business and can lead to larger corruption issues.

  3. Gifts and Hospitality:

    • While gifts and hospitality can build good business relationships, they must be appropriate, reasonable, and not intended to influence decisions. Any gift or hospitality offered or received should be transparent, properly documented, and in line with company guidelines.

  4. Charitable Donations:

    • Charitable donations should be made transparently and must not be used as a mode for bribery. All charitable contributions should be reviewed and approved by management to ensure they comply with this policy and are not intended to gain business advantages.

  5. Third-Party Relationships:

    • Due diligence is crucial when engaging third parties, including agents, consultants, and business partners. The company must ensure that these parties adhere to anti-bribery and anti-corruption standards. Contracts with third parties should include clauses that reflect this commitment.

  6. Reporting and Whistleblowing:

    • Employees are encouraged to report any concerns or suspicions regarding bribery or corruption. The company will provide secure and confidential channels for reporting, and employees can do so anonymously. There will be no retaliation against individuals who report concerns in good faith.

  7. Compliance and Monitoring:

    • The company will conduct regular audits and monitoring to ensure compliance with this policy. Non-compliance will be addressed promptly, and any violations may lead to disciplinary actions, including termination of employment and potential legal consequences. (If this has to be kept or not)
